Dominic was called to the Bar in 2012. He has a broad civil law practice in all areas of Chambers’ work, in particular inquests, human rights and public law, personal injury, disciplinary and employment.
Dominic regularly appears on behalf of families at inquests. He is developing a particular specialism in inquests into mental health patients, and has appeared at Article 2 and jury inquests into the deaths of both formally and informally admitted mental health patients, as well those being treated in the community.
Human Rights / Public Law
Dominic as a former Regular Army officer and current Reservist Army Officer has a particular interest and expertise in cases involving the military. He has appeared in both the Immigration Tribunal and Upper Tribunal in immigration and asylum cases. Clinical Negligence / Personal Injury
Dominic appears for both Claimants and Defendants, and regularly advises and drafts pleadings across the entire spectrum of clinical negligence and personal injury (including construction site accidents).
Dominic has appeared before the GMC, as well as representing claimants at the Employment Tribunal, and representing a potentially affected person at an Army Board of Inquiry into alleged discrimination and mismanagement.
Dominic is a trained mediator.
