Hala’s practice is centred in family law with an emphasis on public law proceedings. Within that context, she has a breadth of experience representing parents, grandparents and children at various hearings and across tribunals.
She has also represented parents in complex care proceedings involving non-accidental injury.
Hala also accepts instructions on a range of private law matters, having particular experience at working effectively with a multi-cultural client base. Her private law experience includes applications for the removal of children to non-Hague Convention countries, matters of honour-based violence and representing estranged grandparents.
Hala is a robust yet sensitive and patient advocate always focussed on achieving the best outcome for her client.
