Matthew has experience in a wide range of Public and Private Children Act matters appearing at all levels including the High Court & Court of Appeal. Matthew regularly appears in public law cases where serious domestic violence, chronic neglect or non-accidental injuries are central to the issue in the case. He frequently deals with clients with severe learning difficulties and is known for his ability when dealing with the most testing of clients.
Matthew also accepts instructions in cases that involve human rights, cross-jurisdictional issues and the consideration of the Hague Convention.
