Kate is a civil barrister who advises and represents clients in a broad range of property, personal injury and commercial disputes.
She acts for individuals, business owners and charities. She is commended for her expertise in resolving disputes and considered approach to client care.
Kate appears in Court on an almost daily basis and has developed strong advocacy skills as a result. She also provides written advice on a range of matters relating to property, personal injury, employment and contracts.
Property
Kate deals with all aspects of property litigation. She has experience of disputes concerning the sale of land, mortgage possession claims, residential and commercial landlord and tenant matters.
She advises freeholders, leaseholders and tenants on service charge disputes, boundary disputes and right of way disputes.
Commercial
Kate advises and represents clients in a broad range of commercial and contractual disputes both at trial and through the mediation process.
In addition, Kate has experience of challenging consumer credit agreements under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 for an unfair relationship.
